paper : beads

“There is no language of the holy.
The sacred lies in the ordinary.”

Deng Ming-Dao

An extraordinary day full of ordinary moments. Finding the beauty in a weed, turning paper into beads, savoring a cup or two of tea, embracing simplicity in my life and thoughts.

the present

The past is history.
The future is a mystery.
This moment is a gift;
That’s why it’s called the present.

A tiny flower gifted to me by my daughter… a glimpse into my Sacred Life.

I love this concept: My Sacred Life, an inspiring project which encourages bloggers to “creatively connect with the holiness of everyday life” by posting a daily photo of the “people, parts and places of everyday life” that are cherished and sacred to us.
