Friday I’m In Love… with the arrival of spring

Friday I'm In LoveAh, yes, it’s Friday. Trying to find comfort in the ebb and flow of life. Opening the door to the fresh spring air, sweeping out the dusty bits of life that threaten to taint my soul these past few days and inviting you in to share in all the goodness of my week…

true bliss… I had a moment this week, a surge of love and gratitude that was so immense and powerful it stopped me in my tracks, a tear trickled down my cheek and I smiled wide. I felt, with my whole heart and being, that everything was absolutely perfect at that moment. Note to self: be open to moments like that more often.

this bed… oh my, could you just imagine having a such a sweet bed? Such fabulousness.

dear friends… I met up with an old friend this week for a drink and some girl talk… old friends, new friends, generous friends, distant friends, friends who make me laugh, friends who inspire me, ground me, encourage me, so so grateful for each and every one.

out with the old, in with the new… Ah, yes, spring must be in the air. Tulips. Breezy visits to the beach. Planning the garden. Watching the small buds, little blooms, new growth in nature. Loving the newness all around… new season, new attitude, and, after weeks in the making, even a new look here in my little corner of the internet.

What’s making your heart flutter with love this week?

New life everywhere. Dandelions and those tiny little purple and white flowers that make such prettiness in my yard. Brand new leaves. A junco’s nest on my front porch.

Lovely post. Lovely site. Thanks for the light.

What amkes my heart flutter with love? The sight of my 15 year old boy, curled up, sound asleep on my bed, reminding me that he will always be my beautiful son….Waking up to the soft wispers from my young son wishing me a happy day, hearing all the love and adoration in his voice and his seet lips kissing my face…the touch from husband, comforting me, deep into the night as I quitely cry thinking of my future without my mother…thinking about the way my mom looks at me, deep into my soul and seeing how beautiful I am in her eyes. I am so blessed to have my heart flutter so often with love from those I adore.
    I miss you sweet girl!
