Inspire Me Thursday: Vernal Equinox

Cherish The Journey

Last week at Inspire Me Thursday, the challenge was to celebreate spring and be inspired by nature. Such a perfect time of year to be inspired by the outdoors! When I look into my backyard, I have been seeing so many birds, one of the loveliest things about spring! So I made this little clay pendant with the impression of a little bird. It has a greyish purple color but when held up to light it turns to a light golden brown (the colors are better than what is shown, this is a hard piece to photograph). I have another project in process that includes a few treasures found on one of our nature walks; I didn’t get it done in time for this week, but I will post as soon as I finish it.

The new challenge is for this week is posted, so if you’re looking for some inspiration, go check out Inspire Me Thursday!
