happy easter
Our Easter is… coloring eggs and staining our fingers… drawing pictures of flowers and rabbits and birds to hang on the wall… putting out a plate of carrots for that absurdly efficient Easter Bunny to chomp on when he comes to deliver baskets of candy in the wee hours of the night.
The only thing that makes me tolerate all the pastel colors and cute little bunnies of this holiday, besides the delighted glees of my kids, is the arrival of spring. Once the snow melts, the sun warms up and the earth starts to bloom again, I start to feel so alive. Not only do I feel more energetic, I also feel happier, prettier, thinner, stronger, more patient and optimistic. Why is it that the weather has such a strong effect on one’s general well-being and mood, even causing annoyingly cute little bunnies to seem… well, a tiny bit less annoying?
Today, I’m hoping you also feel alive and happy!

Happy Easter from the Hamilton’s!
Give those kids big, chocolately hugs and kisses from their cousins (ahh, and a couple for you and Jamie, too!). Have a beautiful day.
P.S. I’d, for one, like to get a dose of that “feeling thinner” pill . . perhaps I should try CVS? Or exercising? :)
P.P.S. Eggs look fabulous!

Spring really does have a way of renewing our spirits……..sunshine makes everything seem a little bit better (not sure about weight, though)!
Love the eggs….coloring them is the best thing about Easter. I remember the vinegar smell, and dye all over the kitchen………and blue fingers at Church on Easter Sunday!
and i think the Easter Bunny is cute! hop hop
