SPT {signs of spring}
little sprouts pushing through the earth · the dirt and rock cake my daughter made for me, complete with stick candles · the sudden desire to go on a cleaning rampage
opening the windows to let the fresh air in the house · the neighbors coming out of hibernation to garden, mow the lawn, wash the car, go for a walk · kids playing outside

And one of my favorite signs of spring I saw today: two teenage boys riding their bikes, holding flowers behind their backs, smiling sheepishly at the two teenage girls walking toward them. Ah, it must be spring — love is in the air!

What a lovely picture! You look so delighted looking at the gift from your child. I’m jealous about your Spring. The greean of the shrubs and grass really pop against the background of hibernating trees. It’s in the 90’s already in Phoenix…blech.

Ah yes, another lover of spring here! When the light changes and the world comes back to life with color. The image of the boys with flowers - what a terrific photo that would have been!
