time flies

It’s the middle of March. We’re almost to the start of the second quarter of the year. The trip I’ve been planning for months is less than two weeks away. Wow, where does the time go?!

This week is all about getting caught up on email, laundry and art commitments. Using stamps from Red Lead (thanks again, Sharon and Chris!) Creating some art. Coveting clothes I cannot afford. Trying to find time for my poor, deprived art journal. Discovering some cool, artsy blogs. Gathering supplies and working out last minute details for my trip. Loving the work of this artist. Wishing my kids would stop growing up so darn fast. Listening to Jack Johnson. And wondering what other artists do when they are waiting for paint to dry?

And here I thought the trip you were excited about was down to our house. Have fun and enjoy Artfest.

I don’t paint, but I usually like to eat when I wait for things.

BTW, I added a link to your site on mine.

When the paint is drying I usually do laundry and make tea. And I love waiting, taking breaks , leafing through some books or just staring out of the window, thinking. (Jack Johnson is just perfect for that, isn’t it?)
