today…
my thoughts feel like
a big bowl of soup —
jumbled together
like cabbage
and carrots…

i always enjoy visiting & seeing your artwork, Melanie. it is also nice to see someone else who journals using magazines as i do. i have such a bad habit of collecting them that i finally put them to use as actual backgrounds for my journal pages. less intimidating having the canvas “already painted” so to speak.

..also remember how nourishing soup is….
while it can be overwhelming chopping & preparing the ingredients for a great pot of soup, all of the ingredients are necessary for the end result

….and while many thoughts at once can seem overwhelming….several ideas and thoughts often lead to single great ideas & solutions in our lives…

…thought soup- enjoy a bowl today.

Go on, share your thoughts.
