Studio Friday { playtime + happy accident }
Last week was Playtime at Studio Friday and I let my paint-dipped fingers dance merrily across my paper. I was then inspired to start this collage, and although it wasn’t finished in time for last week’s topic, it does indeed fit this week’s By Accident topic as well. Originally I had planned a white background for this piece, but I accidently squeezed out too much yellow paint and didn’t want it to go to waste so a yellow background was born. Looking at it now, I think the colorful background looks better anyway, therefore I declare it a ‘happy accident’!
