Studio Friday { finger painting }

Sometimes it’s nice to get back to basics. Paper + paint + no tools = messy fingers and lots of fun. I cut a square piece from a paper towel, then I applied light blue and lime green paints with my fingers, adding a bit of water now and then to help blend the colors. I am just loving these colors together.

I used this painted towel in a collage I created tonight. Check it out in my next post.

    nice to play like that, I’ve glued and painted all day today. cool that the little holes are showing so clear like that!

    Great colors you picked!! Seems like you had a fantastic time to play!! :-) I love the birdie and the all over feel of the finished piece. It is so pretty!!! Are you going to frame it? Times to play are sooo fun!!

    I like your idea of using a piece op papertowel to paint on. And the collage in which you use this piece as a background looks really great!!
