Knitty Rocks!

While browsing around for scarf patterns, I came across a fantastic site — Knitty.com!

Wow. Some of the patterns are so cool! I can’t wait until I can actually read a pattern and make something so fabulous! I am especially in LoVE with Latifa! I am vowing that I will someday make that scarf!

First Time Knitting. Ever.

My mom and I decided that we need to learn to knit so that we can make some of those fab scarves that are all the rage now. Today she showed up at my house with some knitting needles, a learn-to-knit book and some yarn.

She had learned to knit years ago and just needed a refresher. I, on the otherhand, was totally new at this, and, believe me, I am all thumbs! It feels like I will never get the hang it, but I am going to really give it my best shot. They say practise, practise, practise.
